Research reaches into every aspect of our writing projects.
Business – Where and when to sell. Connecting with editors, agents, and publishers. How to find and engage your readers. The best methods to do taxes, keep records—all sorts, and list sales and on and on that goes!
Novel or nonfiction writing projects (WIP) has me searching for contemporary and historical information.
HEARTS FOREVER FAITHFUL series that has required me to study:

• Personalities (Myers & Brigs Personality Type—https://www.myersbriggs.org/my-mbti-personality-type/mbti-basics/)   (Every book)
• Dog training--Canine Body Language, 101 Dog Tricks, It’s Me or the Dog, The Dog Listener and my life with a Leonberger. Dog training classes.
• Locations—Beaver Falls and Beaver PA and I’ve been there to those towns over the years. Big Foot Slept Here, asking my sister who lives there.
• Local (to the novels area) businesses and roads and situations—Google Maps, Atlas Maps, visits
• Climate and weather—I personally lived in that area of Pennsylvania so I know it well.
• Nationalities when needed
• Teens--
• Mafia—I looked up some online events and arrests in info
• Weddings and Reception places—being familiar with the area, I choose Olde Stonewall Golf Course
• Victorian Homes--Victorian House, Designs in Authentic Full Color for the room layout and style. I’ve surfed through other books too.
• Organization--The Get Yourself Organized Project, 21 Steps to Less Mess and Stress, and The House that Cleans Itself. Also, numerous Kitchen remolding magazines.
• Secret Compartments in boxes – I’ve watched YouTube info.
