FUN ASSIGNMENT Due Tuesday, JULY 11, 2023:
You choose a book that has been made into a movie so that we can talk about them. Jot down differences between the book and movie. Choose your favorite story or a new inspiring one. BEN HUR by Lew Wallace & movie -- BEN HUR SHERLOCK HOLMES by Arthur Conan Doyle (series) & movies -- SHERLOCK HOLMES movies THE QUIET MAN And Other Stories by Maurice Walsh & movie -- THE QUIET MAN ANNE OF GREEN GABLES by L.M. Montgomery (series) & movies -- ANNE OF GREEN GABLES movies MURDER SHE WROTE by Donald Bain, Jon Land, & Terry Farley Moran & movies -- MURDER SHE WROTE (many) There may be non-fiction book/movie combos, and if there are you can do that genre also. Wouldn't it be nice to see just what movie produces trim out of books to make fabulous movies out of the same idea. Would you like your novel made into a movie? Maybe this assignment will help you to write an attractive-to-movie-producer story or book!
