Are you looking for a fabulous stocking stuffer or Christmas gift for a friend? I invite you to come to Wallin’s Landing for a fictional visit! This inspirational Historical Romance from Love Inspired will entertain. His Frontier Christmas Family is a novel set in the 1874s—from a series about the Wallin family siblings—which can also be read as a stand-alone. Regina Scott knows how to tell a memorable story that leaves this reader happy and grateful for visiting her adventures.

It’s enjoyable how Regina’s characters grow and interact together. Personally, I need to see depth in characters and I want the novels that I spend time in to show diverse personalities and surprising plot twists. I want to be pleased with the way characters transform and I find all these qualities, that I mentioned above, in this Wallin story!
Callie Murphy and her brothers, Sutter’s Mill Murphy (Sutter) and San Francisco Murphy (Frisco) kept me engaged and interested. Also, the addition of Mica, Callie’s baby niece, offers a sweetness to the telling. The hero, Levi Wallin, struggles with a worthy opponent within himself and I wondered how he would overcome. Nevertheless, a promise was made, so must be kept.

Regina has a way of taking an unlikely scenario and making it believable and fun. She laced in a mystery that the characters don’t realize, but one that I was fully aware of and anticipated as I drew farther into the story. A mysterious crisis that happens in Wallin’s Landing connects His Frontier Christmas Family to the next story in the series. Yes, I’m itching to read that one also!

This is a worthy Christmas read and I hope that you will enjoy the series also! Go ahead, pull up a chair and grab a Wallin mystery for it will be a fun and relaxing read that is sure to sweeten your Christmas celebrations!
