I highly recommend Book 3 of Guarding Her Heart, NEVER HIRE A HERO by Regina! This well-written, adventurous tale kept me flipping pages during a hectic time. Regina’s characters have such an individual quality to their personalities that I wonder who she knows this well to write their hearts all over the pages. I like the mystery and personal interactions and overcoming that the characters push through to grow and be strengthened from their personal weakness, beliefs, and trials they face. I also love to read about the former characters who adorn this story, including Lady Belfort and Fortune, the very wise and influential cat.

Well done, Regina! I absolutely loved how you captured the children and the 1825th period in Surrey. The research for this story was added so perfectly that I could relax and enjoy as the novel unfolded!

I was given a copy of this novel to share an honest review, and there you have it. I adore this story and appreciate the skill and heart with which these pages were fleshed out. Even the Countess of Aldene, the heroine, whose first name is Thea, remained influenced by her husband, who passed. That former relationship shined so believably and relatable that I enjoyed how Roth wisely navigated this family’s dynamics. This clean fiction offers so much. Mystery, challenge, overcoming one’s beliefs and troubles, as well as somewhat authoritarian personalities. There are Westerbrooks, and then there are Westerbrooks! Just saying! NEVER HIRE A HERO, Guarding Her Heart, Book 3 would be an excellent Christmas present!
